Graphorn Graphorns are found in the mountains in Europe. They are large and greyish purple. Hump-backed, Graphorns have long, sharp horns and walk on large four-thumbed feet. Graphorns are a Class XXXX (4X) beast. They are extremely aggressive, and do not take kindly to any intruders to their territory. Occasionally, Mountain Trolls will use Graphorns as mounts. However, Graphorns do not like this, and it is more common to see a Troll covered with scars from battles with Graphorns. Powdered Graphorn horn is used in a wide variety of potions. The cost of the ingredient is often prohibitive, due to the difficulty in obtaining it. Some wizards try to obtain Graphorn hide, as it is tougher than dragon hide and repels most spells.
Horklump Horklumps originated in Scandinavia. They have since spread to northern Europe. Horklumps resemble fleshy, pinkish mushrooms. They are covered in sparse, wiry black bristles. Horklumps are a Class X (1X) creature. They are of no real danger, except to your garden. They are fast breeders, and can cover a garden in days. Instead of roots, the Horklump sends its sinewy tentacles into the ground to search for its food. It feasts primarily on earthworms. One thing that can keep Horklumps under control are Gnomes, who find them a delicacy. To date, no use other than Gnome food has been found for Horklumps.
Demiguise Demiguises are native to the Far East, including China and Mongolia. They resemble an ape, though more graceful in movement. They have large black eyes which seem doleful, though the eyes are often hidden by hair. The body of the Demiguise is covered with fine, long, silky, silvery hair. The Demiguise is a Class XXXX (4X) beast. Though the Demiguise is a peaceful herbivore, they have a remarkable defense ability which gives them their rating. When threatened, the Demiguise can make itself invisible. Only wizards trained and skilled in the capture of Demiguises are able to see them. Demiguise pelts are much sought after. Their hair may be spun to make Invisibility Cloaks.
