Eh, there. Welcome back. Got some not so dangerous things today.
Sixth Year - Assignment 5

Giant
Giants are known as being big, ugly, smelly, and not
particularly bright. And all of this is for good reason.
Giants stand at least twice the height of a normal man, although some
may be taller. They are very strong, often wielding clubs or rocks
as weapons with deadly accuracy. They live in mountainous areas,
where there are caves in which to rest and hide.
Giants are able to speak the human tongue, but not very
well. They are unwilling to be a part of normal society's rules,
and are thus classed as Beasts. They do have a social order, with
the strongest giant being the ruler of the others. However, rank
can shift quickly, and deposed rulers and their followers will be hunted
to death.
Their general anti-human nature has given them a Class
XXXX (4X) rating, and Giants should only be approached with
caution. Bringing gifts may help buy time, but there is no
guarantee that this will work.
It is possible for Giants and Humans to produce
children. However, the less said about how this is accomplished,
the better. The offspring often find it hard to make their way in
the world, as anti-Giant sentiment runs high. Still, many
half-giants have had successful careers, such as that of Rubeus Hagrid,
of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Cheese Weasel
Where there is cheese, there are Cheese Weasels.
Cheese Weasels seek out cheese stores and eat them. Slightly
smaller than a normal weasel, but larger than a mouse, Cheese Weasels
sneak into homes to begin their feasting. If they discover a large
cheese supply, such as that of a manor or school, they will set up a
colony nearby, so they may feast with ease.
Cheese Weasels are very difficult to catch, as they can
blend in with their surroundings, even better than a Chameleon
can. For example, if a Cheese Weasel wanted to blend against a
large block of Swiss cheese, its body would match the exact aspect of
the cheese, complete with the appearance of holes and shadows.
This ability gives Cheese Weasels their Class XX (2X)
rating. Not particularly dangerous, but with a magical
ability. Cheese Weasel fur can be used for some blending spells,
although most experimenters find that after the spell is finished, they
are really hungry for cheese.

Gargoyle
Gargoyles are creatures of living stone. They are
generally monstrous looking creatures with claws, wings, and a
tail. They live on large, old buildings, where they blend in with
the carved stonework. For that reason, they favor medieval castles
and cathedrals. It is believed that the first Gargoyles were
simply stone statues animated by magic. But at some point, they
gained intelligence and the ability to reproduce themselves.
Generally standing at least 6 feet tall, Gargoyles have
a strength to match Giants, the ability to fly, and an imperviousness to
most forms of damage. They only truly fear shattering, as that
will kill them. Despite their strength, Gargoyles are generally
nonviolent, wishing only to live their lives quietly. The few
Gargoyles that become violent do so to protect their homes. The
Wizard Tanvir Firestorm bought an old, crumbling ruin in France.
His intent was to demolish the ruin and build a new home for
himself. To his great shock, the ruins were inhabited by a family
of Gargoyles who were unwilling to have their homes
destroyed.
Unfortunately, there has been no success in
communicating with Gargoyles This communication difficulty,
combined with a Gargoyles other abilities, gives them a Class XXXX (4X)
rating. Some wizards have shown some success in the use of
powdered Gargoyle as a part of protection potions.
