Welcome back, welcome back. I've brought in some
fun ones today.
Sixth Year - Lesson 6

Cyclops
Cyclops are about twice the size of men. Their
legs are like giant goats, their skin is scaly, and they have a single
horn coming from the top of their head. They also have a single
eye in the middle of their forehead.
Cyclops tend to live in areas with caves and grass for
the raising of giant sheep. These sheep are their primary food
source. However, Cyclops enjoy eating human meat as well.
Their strength and size make capturing humans fairly easy. They
have a Class XXX (3X) rating, for although Muggles are generally
defenseless, wizards have spells to work with.
Cyclops have been encountered by Muggles in the
past. One individual, Odysseus, met up with some Cyclops when his
men came ashore. Realizing that they weren't being fed as guests,
but instead being fattened up for food, Odysseus blinded the Cyclops who
captured them. He and his men then escaped on the underbellies of
the giant sheep.
Powdered Cyclops eye is said to be useful for vision
potions.

Blast-Ended Skewt
Blast-Ended Skrewts are recent discoveries. It is hypothesized
that they may even have been created in violation of the law. They
are a mix of Manticores and Fire Crabs.
The creature is all black, with pincers and crab like
legs., and it's not quite sure which end is the head. It is
possible that the head is the end that does not blast fire, but this is
not a certainty. Males, it is thought, have scorpion like
tails. Females have a sucker that, it is thought, is used to suck
blood. They begin at approximately six inches long and grow as
large as ten feet long.
It is unknown what Skrewts eat or what purpose they may
serve in the magical world. Skrewts will kill each other.
Because the Blast-Ended Skrewt has only recently been discovered, the
Ministry has not yet given it a Classification. There is only one
currently known in existence, last seen during the Tri-Wizard
tournament.

Boggart
Boggarts are shape shifters. As an attack
mechanism, they take the form of whatever is most feared by the person
encountered. The true form of Boggarts is unknown. It is
believed they feed on fear, and so their attack form is not simply
defense. Boggarts live in dark, confined places. They may be
found in trunks, chests, closets, and are probably best known for hiding
under beds.
Boggarts are best used for those seeking to conquer
specific fears. If you can face the Boggart, you should be able to
face what you fear. There is some risk in this, as what you fear
may be difficult to face. While a fear of spiders could be
conquered, a fear of being discovered having wet the bed may be a bit
more difficult.
Boggarts have a Class XXX (3X) rating. While not
dangerous if you know the spell to defeat them, many wizards are still
too paralyzed by fear to use the spell.
